Point Dume Club Mobile Homes

The most prestigious modular home park in the country, Malibu's Point Dume Club, is located at 29500 Heathercliff Road on Pt. Dume. The guard-gated subdivision has the appearance of a suburban tract, with carefully laid out curving streets and neatly landscaped homes. Residents have the use of its clubhouse with a pool, plus tennis and basketball courts. The 297-unit Point Dume Club was built in 1970.

These permanent homes have nothing in common with a "trailer park" and the values reflect that. Prices exceed $1 million with one special property listed at $2.2 million. This secure and private community is sited so that the homes have some of the most beautiful views in California.

While the mobile homes pay no property taxes, they do pay an annual DMV renewal fee for the unit and "space rent" to Point Dume Club for their lot.
